Are Portobello party to Fusion™ Mineral Paint’s trade discount program?

Yes, a 15% discount is currently available to high volume furniture flippers, manufacturers or contractors. Email james@portobello.com.sg for details.

I have a discount code, how do I use this?

Add products to your cart, and then select the green cart icon on the right hand side.  Press the checkout button, and then “show order summary” within the popup window.  Towards the bottom of this summary is a place for you to insert your discount code.  Please ensure there is an item in your cart which the discount code applies to, some discount codes only apply to our “Upcycling with Friends” workshops.

How much is delivery?

Delivery within Singapore is free on all online orders of $75 or more (two normal sized pots of paint): simply insert the discount code “DELIVERY75” at the final stage of your checkout, after you have selected home delivery.  There is no limit to the number of times this discount code can be used, per customer.

Additionally, there is no charge for collection from Portobello HQ off Balestier Road.  Delivery for small orders of up to 2kg (essentially 2 pots of paint) is only $8.

We use couriers for delivery: if you let us know your prefered 2 hour delivery window at checkout (or by sending us an email) we will accommodate this.  If you do not specify a delivery window we will deliver between 6 and 10pm in the evening.

When will my purchases be delivered?

As of January 1st 2018, we are delighted to be able to offer same day delivery on all online orders (Monday to Saturday).

You are very welcome to specific a particular delivery window, and we will do our best to accommodate this: simply email james@portobello.com.sg.

How do I pay?

The most straightforward option is to checkout via Shopify Payments, and pay via your Visa, Mastercard or AmEx card.  It is also possible to pay via Apple Pay after selecting Shopify Payments.

Another option is PayPal. Customers do not need to have a PayPal account in order to checkout via PayPal.

Other options include: direct bank transfer (account details available on request), PayNow to UEN 201709098W (Portobello Reclaimed Ptd Ltd) or cash.

I see you offer checkout via PayPal. Are Portobello Reclaimed signed up to PayPal Buyer Protection?

Yes! Buyers are protected should an item not be shipped, or not be as described. More details are available via the PayPal site (link below).


How do I find the colour I’m after?

Use the drop down menu under "Furniture Paint Colours" to see a range of Whites, Reds, Blues and many other colours.

I don't know what paint to choose?

Chat with us, call us, or email. We are very happy to help. Or visit Portobello HQ off Balestier Road where we have a range of samples painted in each colour!

Do you have painted samples of each colour available which might be posted to me?

Yes, absolutely. If you send an email with your address to james@portobello.com.sg detailing the colours you are interested in, we will pop samples in the post.

Please note that these colour samples (painted tongue depressors) are only colour samples. They are not finished or lightly sanded, and are not representative of the quality of finish possible - only our colours.

How do I change the amount of paint purchased?

Click on the quantity drop down menu in the cart page.

How do I find out more about each paint?

Click on its picture and you’ll arrive at a page providing more information.

I’ve made an order, now what?

You’ll automatically receive an email receipt, and soon afterwards a delivery or collection confirmation.

Do you run workshops for customers who would like to learn new techniques?

Yes! We now have a webpage dedicated to our workshops - if you would like us to organise one on a specific subject, or for a specific group, please do not hesitate to email james@portobello.com.sg.

I have purchased a place at a workshop and now need to cancel, what do I do?

Please note that we will not be able to offer refunds or credits on places at workshops cancelled on either the day of the event, or the day previous to the event.  We do understand that cancellations are sometimes necessary, and those made prior to this - no problem!  Please email james@portobello.com.sg and we will organise a refund or credit.

Do you accept bespoke commissions to repair or repaint customer's furniture?

Yes. We would be delighted to help, and have recently set up a dedicated webpage for this. Please email james@portobello.com.sg with details of the piece(s) you would like repaired or repainted, and Portobello Reclaimed will get back to you with a price.
