February 2020: no new workshops are currently being added. We will revisit this when the the position with COVID-19 becomes clearer.
Portobello Reclaimed regularly host workshops for small groups at their Shop House Studio (pictured below). Attendees learn how to prep, paint and refinish old pieces of furniture – and are normally given a piece of their own to repaint, at the workshop, in whatever style they choose.
Workshops last approximately 2.5 hours.
Details of our next workshops appear below. We limit numbers to 8 at each, so please purchase your place early to avoid disappointment. Simply click on the link below and add it to your cart in order to purchase your place at the workshop.
The theme of each workshop varies, although we do occasionally run repeat workshops where demand is high – particularly for the super popular “stools” workshop (the Cranberry coloured one below). If you have any questions please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Beginners, Fusionistas and those who have never even held a paint brush – all are welcome!
Aprons and Fusion™ Mineral Paint is provided and you also receive a 10% discount on any Fusion™ Mineral Paint purchases made at the end of the workshop.
Please note that we will not be able to offer refunds on places at workshops cancelled on either the day of the event, or the day previous to the event. We do understand that cancellations are sometimes necessary, and those made prior to this – no problem!
Portobello Reclaimed are also happy to organise bespoke workshops for small groups. They make for super birthday events – just drop us an email if you are potentially interested.
Some examples of our workshops include:
- Rescuing Old Stools
- Personalised Reclaimed Wood Planters
- Personalised Rustic Signs
- Stenciling Fabric (Cushions)
- BYOP (Bring Your Own Piece)
The above watercolour of Portobello HQ was painted by the hugely talented Natasha Carter-Clout. More details of Natasha’s work can be found here.
